Know Thyself, but not by yourself.
Honest conversations, guided reflections. June 2026 | US West Coast
Three days of honest conversation, guided reflection, and the kind of connection that changes how you move through the world.
June 2026 • US West Coast • 3 days
WHY THIS EXISTSA note from André
After hundreds of conversations on the podcast — with therapists, philosophers, monks, artists, founders — a pattern became impossible to ignore: the most transformative insights don't happen in isolation. They happen in rooms where people are willing to be honest. I kept hearing from listeners who said the same thing: "I want this kind of conversation in my real life." Not just consuming ideas about growth, but actually doing the work — alongside people who take it as seriously as you do. That's what this is. Not a conference. Not a content event. A genuine gathering where the only agenda is to go deeper — into yourself, into connection, into what it actually means to live with more clarity and intention. I'm not interested in creating something big. I want to create something real.
THE EXPERIENCEWhat three days look like
◯
Guided Reflections
Structured prompts and solo exercises designed to surface the questions you've been avoiding — and the answers you already carry.
◎
Small Group Dialogue
Facilitated conversations in groups of
6–8. No small talk. Real questions, real
listening, real presence.
△
Movement & Stillness
Morning breathwork, walks in nature, evening meditation. Space to process what surfaces — not just intellectually, but in your body.
☽
Evening Sessions
Intimate fireside conversations, live
podcast recordings, and unstructured
time for the connections that happen
when you stop performing.
✦
Guest Facilitators
Past podcast guests and practitioners
leading workshops on their craft —
from Stoic philosophy to somatic
healing to creative expression.

Nope.
You’re absolutely welcome whether you’ve listened to every episode or none at all.
That said, listening to a few episodes beforehand can give you a feel for the tone of the conversations and the kind of community that gathers around Know Thyself. It’s less about being “caught up” and more about sensing the spirit of the space.
Either way, you won’t feel behind. Just come curious.
-
Yes, come make new friends!
-
No. Know Thyself is not religious and is not affiliated with any specific tradition or belief system.
We explore ideas from philosophy, psychology, science, and spiritual traditions — but we don’t promote dogma, ideology, or conversion to any worldview.
Our events are spaces for inquiry, reflection, and meaningful conversation. You don’t need to believe anything to attend. You don’t need to subscribe to a framework. You don’t need to identify as “spiritual.”
What we value is curiosity, discernment, humility, and openness.
-
You’ll be in good company.
Many people in the Know Thyself community are reflective, thoughtful, and more inwardly oriented. Our events are intentionally designed to allow space — not constant stimulation.
There are structured conversations, quiet moments, and opportunities to connect in ways that feel natural, not forced. You won’t be put on the spot. You won’t be pressured to perform socially.
At the same time, growth often lives just beyond the edge of our comfort zone. You’ll have gentle invitations to engage — not in a performative way, but in a way that expands you.
Come as you are. Participate at the level that feels right for you. And if you feel called to lean in a little more than usual, you’ll be supported in that too.
-
Our community is made up of thoughtful, growth-oriented individuals — entrepreneurs, creatives, professionals, students, parents, skeptics, seekers. What unites them isn’t background. It’s curiosity.
People come because they care about understanding themselves more deeply and living with greater clarity and integrity
